		<description>Problem Statement
How might we facilitate sharing of patient’s data between care providers so that we can reduce the burden of our patients and collaborate more among care providers?
&#38;nbsp;

End users of OCP will be the care
teams supporting the patients:

Pain
points and problems we will focus on:

● Having to rely on inaccurate information from patients about their
medications and history● Would like to get updates about their patient’s status (e.g. patients
being admitted)● Feel they spend too much time reaching out to stakeholders involved
with patients to piece together care plans &#38;amp; relevant data.• Care teams need to switch between systems &#38;amp; often end up
duplicating services (e.g. home visits on the same day).

The
indirect customers will be elderly patients.

● Elderly patients have a hard time sharing accurate information to their
care teams.● Patients find repetitive, when information relayed multiple times ● They often have issues cooperating with the completion of their care
plan and express they want to be more involved in their care plan creation
process.

SummaryDBS&#38;nbsp; was
&#38;nbsp;looking for a partner to
revamp its Multiplier product page to enhance the overall experience and
information finding for its users.
ProblemThe DBS Multipler site was a content laden information space which did not help users find what they were looking for. Instead of guiding users to relevant information, the site displayed all the information with regards to the Multiplier in one long page.

Objectives

●To
streamline relevant information, providing clarity around what the DBS
Multiplier is and how it can benefit it’s different users.

●To
assess the as-is user journey for the current DBS Multiplier site and design
the to-be journey to optimize the user experience and information wayfinding.

●To
provide research-backed next steps and product recommendations for DBS
Multiplier.

Focus Area
For this engagement, we focused on responding to these questions:

1. How are users searching for
information?
We know who our users are and we have content that will benefit all
users. But to streamline the content and present to users what is meaningful to
them, we have to look into the information the users are searching for. What do
they want to know and at which part of their journey?

2. How do we better engage our users
on the site?
Delve deeper into how users consume information and
interact with the site. Leveraging the insights to recommend and design a
future vision for the DBS Multiplier. What are some industry best practices
that can be put in place? How might we optimize user experience and how
information is related to the user?

Make
Something People Want &#38;amp; Need to Use:
Revamp the Multiplier site in a way that is delightful to understand
and navigate for users. Solve their pain points for them and creating
something that adds value will lead to an increase in adoption.

Focus
on mental models and thought process:
What information are they trying to find and when are they looking for
these information? What is their discovery process?

Project Process
In this 6 week engagment, we started with desk research and came up with the user testing guide for the user testing of the current live site.&#38;nbsp;
We then recruited participants and conducted a series of user testing which we then synthesised and brought to a co-creation workshop with the stakeholders. During the workshop we shared the personas, insights and recommendations from the user testing sessions and ideated on potential new features and solutions.&#38;nbsp;
The team then took these into wireframing and design. A lite design system was created for this product, based off DBS’s current design library. The design was created for both desktop and mobile use.
Another round of user tesing was done with the improved design to validate the design and provide potential next steps.

Wireframing and testing
We created a data platform, which
was purpose-built for easy onboarding of new clients, regardless of the
different ways data may be received from different clients. Cutting edge
machine and deep learning techniques for time-series data were used to generate
forecasts.

The DBS Marketplace was the first
online consumer Car, Property and Travel marketplace ever built by a bank.

I worked with a team of technical
experts, designers, delivery leads who, over a period of 2.5 years, worked with
multiple business units at the bank to research, design and deliver the entire
marketplace for property, cars and travel.

This was also the first
application hosted on public cloud for the bank. We iterated on the product
multiple times and added integrations with many third party marketplaces to
aggregate the listings in one place.My involvement began with research for the car marketplace where we conducted interviews with&#38;nbsp;car buyers and sellers, in the used cars segment. The&#38;nbsp;aim was to establish these stakeholders’ expectations of the DBS marketplace platform for used cars, in terms of content, functionality and user experience.&#38;nbsp;

We came up with a list of recommendations as next steps to be prioritised, together with a site map outlining the main features and process flows.

The property marketplace was where users could browse, buy/sell or rent/list their property in a seamless way while benefiting from low loan interest rates and partner aggregation. The idea is to offer a disruptive solution to increase onboarding and offer added value to existing customers. DBS wanted to stand out from their competition, offering a financial guidance angle by offering a variety of financial planning tools such as the DBS Home Planner as you see in the image above. The Home Planner allows customers to calculate and adequetely plan their finances to understand what property type and budget options are available to them and to also compare this to the finances for the house of their dreams.
With the success of the car and property markeplace, DBS now turned it’s attention to the travel marketplace, where I was the lead designer collaborating with the other designers across the different streams of car, property, hotel and flights, to deliver a cohesive marketplace.

Process
Across the different streams, the team conducted both primary and secondary user research to identify the needs of the users and marrying these with the success metrics defined at the onset with DBS.
After synthesising the research, a visioning workshop was conducted by the team, with the product owners and key stakeholders. The aim was for alignment towards a common vision and expectations as well as prioritise features and recommendations towards a structured product backlog. Based on the prioritised features, low fidelity to high fidelity wireframes were created and tested repeatedly with end users before the UI was created.
Across the different streams we worked to create and test a responsive design. The team worked closely with front end developers to translate specific interations and design details for production.

2014 — Present
I have a stong passion for workshop facilitation and it is an area I put a considerable amount of focus on, to grow and develop. Over the past 7 years, I have facilitated and led numerous workshops with clients ranging from government agencies and schools, to big insurance companies and banks. My portfolio includes workshops for Design Thinking, Visioning, Pitching, co-creation, Customer journey mapping and service blueprinting. I design and facilitate both physical workshops as well as digital workshops using collaboration wools such as Miro and Whimsical. I enjoy working with people who share the same passion for creating meaningful impact, who are thought leaders and agents of change.
Here is a selection of the workshops I have been a part of over the years.

THE CHALLENGE
The Travel Agent (TA) industry is facing an increasingly competitive environment from online players, changing customer patterns and needs, and local manpower challenges which affect their turnover and relevancy in the future. When we began this project with Singapore Tourism Board (STB), our initiatives therefore were targeted at enhancing the capabilities of the industry and to help companies increase business sustainability and encourage greater adoption of technology solutions.
APPROACH

Research objectives - The team outlined 10 research objectives. These included objectives such as&#38;nbsp;Scope inbound and outbound current business processes and problemsIdentify ideal user journeys across key stakeholdersIdentify nudges that ease the uptake of technologyIdentify key factors that lead to sustainability and scalability of travel agents All research material henceforth were aligned to answering the stipulated and agreed upon objectives.
Interviews –&#38;nbsp;We conducted 26 face-to-face interviews with various travel agencies in Singapore as well as Travellers who travelled within the last 3 years. Interview questions were crafted following the creation of the research objectives.

Survey –&#38;nbsp;To complement the qualitiative data collected, the team developed 33 survey questions with conditional forking and these were disseminated to the public. The team collected and analysed 249 survey responses.

Research Coding&#38;nbsp;– Find and quantify patterns into meaningful groups and reduce bias from strong verbatims. Coding sheet with interview verbatim was given to STB.

Research-based Design Thinking Workshop – The team conducted a one day workshop with key stakeholders, to share the research findings and together with the stakeholders, generate the problem statements to be used for the Innovation Challenge.
Research Report –&#38;nbsp;The team then worked on the findings of the design research and workshop outcomes to generate a research report for STB. Due to the confidential nature of the project, I am unable to share images and the content used for this project.

Targeted at children 4-7 years old, Word Out employs the Microsoft Kinect to detect the silhouette of players. Players are tasked to use their bodies to match the shapes of the alphabets displayed on the screen. Being explorative in nature, the game promotes creative learning through play, as well as encourages collaboration and kinesthetic learning for children.&#38;nbsp;Word Out was exhibited at the Singapore Arts Science Museum and the National Museum of Singapore for the 2014 Children's Season. It was also exhibited in Seoul, Korea for the ACM SIGCHI Student Game competition in 2015 and proceeded to be the overall winner in its category, "Games for a Purpose".

Interactive Game: Word Out
2013

Word Out is an interactive game that encourages children to come up with creative ways to use body postures to form alphabets and therefore spell out words. Word Out teaches pre-school children letters and spelling kinesthetically, by engaging their entire body. By twisting and forming alphabets with their body, kids experience the form of each alphabet interactively.
